Welcome to Elgin Youth Soccer Association (EYSA)! EYSA is a youth soccer association benefiting the youth (ages 4-18) in Elgin, Texas and the surrounding areas. We encourage sportsmanship, team work, and individual as well as team development. Our goal is to have fun and look at the long term development of the individual soccer player as well as the team.

SEASONS
The Fall Season has games typically from September to November.
The Spring Season generally runs from late February to April.
PLAY TIME
Each player is required to play at least 50% of the game unless there are discipline issues, sickness, or injury.
AGE CATEGORIES (Age 4 - 18)
Teams are based on the player's birth year. This determines the category for both the Fall and Spring Seasons. Click here for the EYSA Age/Fee Charts.
The in-house leagues are U6, U8, and U10. The "U" followed by an age means that age and "under". The EYSA registrar can clarify which age group your child will be in at sign-ups.
Traveling teams are from U11-U18 (depending on whether or not there are enough players to fill out a team). In the event there are not enough players to fill out teams for consecutive divisions, multiple divisions may be combined.
Anyone who signs up can be a Division IV or Division III Recreational player. For Division II - Super II teams, there are try outs before each season. You can find more information about the various divisions on our Levels of Play page.
Governing Bodies of Soccer
Elgin Youth Soccer Association (EYSA) is the local soccer club. EYSA is in the Capital Area Youth Soccer Association (CAYSA) that is in the Western District (WDDOA) of South Texas Youth Soccer Association (STYSA), which in turn is a member of the US Youth Soccer Association. The US Youth Soccer Association is part of the US Soccer Association that is part of FIFA.
